Oscar W. O’Riley of 249 Lake Ave, Benton Harbor, a resident of this vicinity for the past 35 years, died at 11:45 am Sunday at Mercy hospital at the age of 72 years. Mr. O’Riley had been in failing health since last spring and became seriously ill six weeks ago. He had been a patient at Mercy hospital for the past 3 weeks. He was born in Chicago in 1876. He leaves four children and nine grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday at Florin funeral home with the Rev. Polke Perre, pastor of the First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will take place in Crystal Springs Cemetery. Friends may call at the Florin Funeral Home.

Obituary from the Herald Press, Friday April 28, 1961 Mrs. Lindemann Watervliet – April 28-Mrs. Adolph (Edna H.) Lindemann, 57, of 322 Lewis Street, Watervliet, died last evening in Watervliet Community hospital shortly after being admitted. Mrs. Lindemann was born Oct. 7, 1903 in St. Joseph, the daughter of Charles and Matilda Gnewuch. She was a member of the Plymouth Congregational church here. Besides her husband, survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Gordon Wilson of Stevensville, two sons, Donald of Watervliet and Thomas, a member of the armed forces stationed in Germany, four grandchildren, four sisters, Mrs. Margaret Thompson and Mrs. Earl Shimer, both of Watervliet, Mrs. Claude Tacy Jr., of Coloma and Mrs. Roy Pruitt of Paradise, Calif. And two brothers, Henry Gnewuch of Coloma and Joseph O’Riley of Watervliet. The body is at Hutchins funeral home where funeral arrangements were incomplete this forenoon.
